Briefly, we want to help update the community on the dates set for this year’s 31st Annual Sovereign Days Celebration: August 8th – 11th, 2019. Specifically, the schedule is the following:

Friday, August 9th, 2019 [NF Lawn]

+ 7:30 AM Vendor Setup

+ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Kid Zone Activities, Water Slide, Jurassic Adventure, Robo Surfer, and Obstacle Course

+ 10:00 AM Color Guard

+ 10:15 AM Welcome Address

+ 10:20 AM Grand Marshal Presentation

+ 10:30 AM Miss Natinixwe

+ 11:00 AM Dress Show

+ 12:30 PM Watermelon Eating Contest

+ 9:30 PM Fireworks

Saturday, August 10th, 2019

+ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Parade [Disney Theme]

+ 12:00 PM Softball Tournament at Pookey’s Park

+ 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM Dance at Lucky Bear Casino

Sunday, August 11th, 2019

+ 8:00 AM Traditional Stick Tournament at Hostler field

+ 9:00 AM Sovereign Days Softball Tournament

This schedule is subject to be updated as the Hoopa Valley Tribe moves closer to finalizing more event details. Therefore, we’ll release another Sovereign Days schedule in early-August 2019. Finally, if anyone would like a vendor application, please call 530-625-4211 or stop by the Hoopa Tribal Offices to request one.
