The Hoopa Valley Tribal Council is comprised of 7 elected Council people and one elected Chairperson. Of the 7 council people, one is elected by the council to represent them as the Vice-Chairperson. The 7 elected officials are representatives of the 7 fields or districts that correspond to Traditional Village Sites and make up the Hoopa Valley.
